It was early afternoon, and I was standing in line waiting to buy tickets for a movie. Standing behind me were two women in their early fifties, trying to decide what movie to see. They were wavering between ``Runaway Bride'' and ``The Muse.'' As they discussed their options I thought to myself, ``wow, you couldn't pay me enough to sit through either of those.'' Then I realized that that really wasn't true at all, and started trying to decide how much you'd have to pay me. Then I tuned in to their conversation again:
