Are you familiar with Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection? Several dozen one-player puzzle games, similar in style to your example. No timer, no score-keeping, no ads, just a bunch of intellectual challenges of varying types. I presume there's an iOS port -- there is for Android, plus of course the website. I apologise in advance for the inevitable bankruptcy of the DNA Lounge due to its lord and master spending far too much time being distracted by puzzle games instead of flushing the beer tubes or shampooing the mirror balls or whatever it is that you do all day.
Well, there goes my afternoon!
You seriously have no respect for your readers’ time.

Sweet, it's https://loopsofzen.uk with hexpipes and also works on ipv4!
I hope it comes to iOS, I enjoy it much more than the 'Infinity Loop' implementation I have there now.
I'm sure I remember a game on the Spectrum like this, maybe called "Pipedream"?
40x40 took some time...
