    The trolley problem is held as The Problem to solve for AVs. It isn’t. The real problem to solve is to ensure you never get into to position to have to solve the trolley problem.

      I, too, have recently watched War Games. However, swiss-cheese theory of complex systems failure says that we cut corners instead of eliminating holes in the metaphorical cheese and use layering to stop things falling through metaphorical holes -- but holes will always lines up and the complex system will fail.
