Irony's not dead but Reagan is


The youth often ask me, "What was it like in the 80s? Was it really like a rubbery, smirking Ronald Reagan lovingly torching a car with a gas pump?"

And I tell them yes. Yes, it was.

    If by "car" you mean "the regulation designed to stop markets cycling through violent boom and bust cycles that increases the inequity between the rich and poor", then I agree.
