When will Elon incentivize Tesla owners to start charging at uniformly distributed times from between 10pm to 3am in return for plastic toys representing him using his tunnel carving equipment to dig several kilometers long hybrid maglev sled pneumatic rocket launch assist tubes? Other people don't ask this question but it literally keeps me up multiple days per month and I wonder if I should consider trying to talk to Grimes about it.
Tesla cars have GPS and internet connections, so their chargers could be controlled from the mothership. Just look at the possibilities - you can smooth out local demand spikes, or create them, to help sell your giant batteries.
Time to invest in one of those solar phone chargers?
(Disclaimer: I bought a solar phone charger, used it once, said "Huh, that's pretty cool," and then put it in a drawer only to stumble upon it every four months or so, when I say "Hey, I should use that more often..."
I bought a "solar phone charger" a few years ago, too.
LPT: If the size of a phone or otherwise-forgettable in a drawer, it can't generate enough energy for the phone to give a shit even in bright sunlight with proper care and orientation.
(Proper solar kits exist, but the afore-descripted be not they.)
