   Following the link, with all their talk about "monoliths," it took me a while to realize this was entirely real and not a render or prop for an ARG based on "2001."

   ...and that right there is why, at my previous job at $CLOUD_PROVIDER, we turned SSDs to sand before they left the security zone.

   It is crazy to think that you could crush your SSD or cellphone down to pea-sized chunks, and still someone motivated enough could pull data off them with one of these.

     I liked the later ceremonies with the "from sand you came and to sand you return, logical ones (and zeroes)" wording.
