Previously
They have "invented" in-game audio hints. That's the "non-obvious," "original" invention that they took out a patent on. O.o
Some days I think the patent system is irretrievably broken. Other days I think that the technology industry is populated by village idiots who have convinced themselves that they are Very Smart, Very Original thinkers.
Now, thanks to JWZ, I realize that both of these are true.
Oops, out of game audio hints, provided by clown computing based AI analysis of the current game display and the human player's utterances. Which I guess is the magic fairy dust ^H^H^H low grade bullshit needed to make this patentable.
Still, it's audio hints.
