DNS shenanigans

Dear Lazyweb, I'm changing my DNS from appliedops.net to pairnic.com. Please let me know if you notice anything broken. I've switched over all of my domains except for dnalounge.com, so far.

    Why Pair, of all the?

    • jwz says:

I've been using them as my registrar for decades. Who gives a shit?

      • Eeyore says:

I guess I just know too many friends of friends of yours who used to work for Pair but no longer do because reasons.

    • I also use them. So I'll bite, why not?

    • tfb says:

Can you say why not Pair? We also use them and I'd like to know if we should move. (We already might but only because of general worry about US (lack of) privacy laws, so other than that would be interesting.)

    Works for me.

  3. Eeyore says:

I suppose they aren't any worse than most others, but like I said above, I know too many people who used to work there. If you have a number of friends who all used to work at the same restaurant at different times, and they all act like you should avoid the place, you eventually start to wince involuntarily when somebody mentions they have dinner reservations there.

I haven't been to the appliedops cage where the dnalounge labelled server was racked in years, let alone on payroll, but still sorry to see you go, best pager duty I have ever been on, because things ran that smoothly.

I'm not leaving on purpose, I'm being evicted! I don't really know the details. But it looks like it's Old Man Yells At Clown time, finally.
