   At this point, has a 1.7 mile light rail route really taken longer to build than the Transcontinental Railroad?

   Heroic job being performed by the "local access only" and "detour" signs though.

     Let's see... Yes. Six years for the Transcontinental, coming up on eight years for the Central Subway.
