   Is there a word for this type of over-edited video that manages to show more reaction shots than the actual thing the video is meant to be about? If the thing is interesting enough I can be amazed on my own without needing to mirror others' behavior.

     yes. bugs that they felt the need to add in video of people taking video of the event. like "wink, look, totally going viral." fuck off and go trim your smelly beard.
