What have you got?
I realize this isn't music related and I'm probably talking out of turn, but one of those big 'event cinema' things is happening later this month where one could see The Iron Giant on the big screen, and you should all go to that because it's a good movie and if you haven't seen it by now you're not cool and I don't like you and it's playing at one of the biggest screens in Marin and you should support older, single-screen theaters because that's the best place to see movies where the visuals matter because watching a movie like that on your phone is stupid and you really should get out of the house once in a while and take in a communal experience because that's what separates us from the apes and did you know Vin Diesel is the voice of the titular character and you never thought Vin Diesel in a cartoon could make a grown man cry but you would be wrong.
I am Groot.
No, you should read the book instead, because it's better, and weirder, and has a Space-Bat-Angel-Dragon landing on Australia and threatening to eat the world.
(Grr feckin' American filmmakers mucking about with books from my childhood they don't understand…)
