   loved it.

   these days I just enjoy any movie where the reactions aren't a big pile of indifference.

       That Kang-ho Song would rather blow out a door than a window?
       That in 15 years they haven't run out of beef?
       That Ed Harris is Always The Guy From "The Truman Show"?
       That the Back of the Train is Zion, and Chris Evans is NeoCaptain AmericaCurtis The Tank Engine Engineer?
       The Painfully-Telegraphed literal handwaving about:
       That you can't build a fucking machine to clean a grease trap so instead you put a child in there?

       Because despite all that, I still liked it. But, then, anymore, I'm just glad if the movie I'm watching doesn't feature giant robot testicles.

     I wouldn't say I liked it as much as I admired it for being so bananas.

     They could have made a whole movie about Alison Pill's character and it would have been 10 times more terrifying.

   "After a failed global warming experiment a train travels around the planet using a perpetual motion engine." Alarm bells should have started ringing right there!

   I have not seen Starcrash. I will need to remedy that situation.

     Maybe it's a type-2 perpetual motion engine, running off ambient heat, and it's actually what's causing the ice age. All they have to do is stop and the world revives!
