If I wake up some day in the future, and my dendrites are being simulated by something out of a 3D printer and I have a space robot body, I'm blaming and/or thanking you personally.
Homework? Make-work. The original image files (in DICOM format or the like) have everything that is needed for existing software (eg the awesome OsiriX) to do the work for you. Mr Insides Insides certainly has the bits.
For my part, I get to zoom around and through the inside of my own neck ... not that I can understand or interpret what I'm seeing, of course ... but hey ... 3D MRI coolness. It's very very much like Living in the Future, even as I tick down towards being History.

BTW this is actually a banana flower.
Awesome, thanks. I couldn't figure out where it came from.
Today must be banana day.

The DICOM would be better, but the gif isn't hard to pull apart and stack back up using something like ImageVis3D.
Is that a banana or a pinecone?
As mentioned above, it is a banana flower.
As seen with another imaging technique:
That place is even more crazy than Jinsy.
Whoops, replied to the wrong post.
Dear god, I think I've eaten one of those before. Get it out! Get it out!
I would have guessed it was unused footage from a Doctor Who titles shoot.
