    I wonder if San Francisco's eau de toilette is the same fragrance as the one in New York, or if there is a noticeable difference.

    It smells like pee because it hasn't rained in a while. I've noticed an increase of steamers on the sidewalk lately too, BK must have changed their secret sauce again.

      The first day of rain smells worse of pee. And then day 2 the city smells... clean.

    As a former SF dweller turned Brooklynite, let me assure you that far more urinary than NYC.

      As a former Brooklynite and second-time San Franciscan, yes.

      In my expert opinion, San Francisco smells more of pee than NYC. Although there are areas around the J stops that can get pretty rank.

      Does San Francisco have a toilet shortage?

    Wow, typing fail. San Francisco is far more urinary than NYC.

    It could be worse.
    I ended up driving through that before they got the sweeper trucks there. The smell was incredible.
