You must be mistaken, they were probably just having a jolly conversation about how awesome it is that there's all this extra automobile standing/loading/unloading areas everywhere.
As both a bike rider and car driver in the city, the ones I hate are UPS. They will ALWAYS park in the street in front of their delivery address, no matter if there's a yellow delivery space less than 1/2 a (regular, not SOMA) block away. My "favorite" was when they would block 2 lanes on 4th street in front of the Latte Express (near the train station) to transfer packages and chat. sure it's 4 lanes one-way there, but it always caused a mess. I loathe the package deregulation business in the US. It might be cheaper to get online crap delivered, but we pay for it in so many other ways in the city.
If that's true, it is absolutely a sign of the end times.
That couldn't be true. Next, you'll be telling me that construction permits limit how fucking long generators can be run in residential areas.
It isn't between 6:30 and 10:49.
Those guys block everything.

Here in Montreal, I've heard of cyclists throwing stink bombs inside delivery trucks parked in a bike lane.
