i liked the latter site until i realized it had the same theme as texts from bennett, and now i hate it just based one that.
Interesting websites - the URLs in the top are non-clickable _images_. Way to not have me check out their other brilliant creations...
Canvas elements, not images. It's served as text, but the template uses a font-replacement library (Cufón) that messes things up.
