Also, German Spermatorrhoea Ring:

Spermatorrhoea means involuntary loss of semen, although the rings were also intended to prevent voluntary discharges from masturbation or Onanism. The ring was placed at the base of the penis and fasted with a screw such that any engorgement of the organ would meet with the teeth of the ring and arrest the process.

Variations of the latter are known as "Kali's Teeth Bracelet" and used in the BDSM scene to keep horny male subs in line.

I saw an exhibit a long time ago at some history museum of early surgical devices. One from the gold rush was a tonsil remover. It had a bit at the end that encircled the tonsil. It had a sharp blade. It was spring-loaded.

The card describing the device said drily that it was quite quick but that the patient often needed to be held down to position the device for removal of the second tonsil.
