Some poles get scraped clean before he even gets to them. I haven't bothered to ask the particular Sisyphus about "who" and/or "why" on the occasions I've seen it happening.
Why *aren't* there the equivalent of Roomba's doing things like clearing off stickers, streetcleaning, getting dog poop off sidewalks, painting over graffiti and the like?
Overzealous public works robots seem like they would accompany this grim meathook future.
Is there also a swarm of guys following just behind them applying new stickers because hey, available surface?

At the current rate robots can fold socks and towels they would accumulate stickers faster than they could clean them.
