iTunes DJ votes

Dear Lazyweb, is the "Votes" number exposed through AppleScript? I can't find it.

(It's the thing that shows up in the "Votes" column in the iTunes DJ playlist if you do "Add to iTunes DJ" on a track, or "request" it from iPhone Remote.)

Wish I knew. What clever thing are you planning to do once you can access that via AppleScript?

Just pondering some possible improvements to itunes-dj-nanny. When truncating the queue, I'd like to preferentially delete non-voted tracks.

I was digging around for some other stuff last night and came across an applescript discussion revolving around extracting scriptable stuff from the UI rather than what the app exposes through its library (or whatever the appropriate terminology is). (link)

Well, I hope you get some good news. Maybe from a dead drop somewhere near Cupertino.

After I posted, I thought of a different use for this - a script to mock the voters - "X chose this song, it's their fault"
