According to court papers, Burns told an investigator: “I feel that Gauguin is evil. He has nudity and is bad for the children. He has two women in the painting and it’s very homosexual. I was trying to remove it. I think it should be burned. I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.”
The last statement should be a statutorily required disclaimer for any statement that's sufficiently crazy, i.e., "Gay marriages and teachers' unions are ruining America. The CIA put a radio in my head."
Considering the overwhelming power over thought and motor control that these radios in our heads have, why aren't they able to prevent us from talking about them?
I used to have a poster of Two Tahitian Women up on my wall.
