Do you know anybody who actually works on iTunes? Not "someone who can submit bugs", but "someone who can check in fucking code"?

    I know a guy who knows a guy. Two years ago, I attempted to use this awesome power in order to have a much smaller bug fixed. (I'd tell you what the bug was, but I'd rather not risk anyone's job. If we ever meet in person I'll share as long as someone is handing me a drink.)

    Result: a radar bug that had apparently been open for ten (!) fucking (!!) years (!!!) was, at long last... closed "willnotfix/workingasintended".

    I advise saving yourself some trouble and just giving up any expectation that iTunes will ever perform any of its functions with even minimal competence.
