Every time I go to a completely abstract noise show that's nothing but static and feedback, there's always at least one dude near the front, nodding his head at the rhythm that just isn't there. This is sort of the inverse of that.

    Oh man. This is... yeah.

    Yeah.

  3. The man says in the beginning more or less "The favorite dances among the youth today are dicso, boogie and beat, which cause problems for us adults, especially because of THIS movement..." after which he goes on to demonstrate the problem-causing movement.

Thank you Finnish Broadcasting Company in the 70's.

  4. Obscure trivia: the Finnish guy getting his groove on is Ã…ke Blomqvist, who's been teaching dance since the 1940s and has been awarded the honorary title of Councillor of Education for his efforts. The clip is from his TV show in the 1980s, and he starts it off by stating "The favorite dance of today's youth is disco, which is particularly problematic for adults"... and all things considered, I prefer the original.

    Why is Ed Miliband dancing?
