    I dunno, from an aesthetic point of view I've always disliked hard shell space suits. As a kid in the 60s my space picture books were full of paintings of astronauts exploring the moon in suits like giant kegs and barrels with flexi-tube arms sticking out. It discouraged me, they looked fat and ungainly. The real moon suits were much better, thick and inflexible as they were.

    It's the red metallic trim that makes me think this is actually a deep-sea suit color-coordinated for some Russian oligarch's yacht.
