I find it amusing that when I went to Google to learn about the movie's source material one of the top results was a Google news feed alert about...this post.
I'm definitely intrigued by both the film and the comics...I'll have to dig up a translation.
WTF? The first trailer I saw for this movie had almost nothing about this woman. Is there some kind of rule that movie trailers can't have strong female leads in America or something?
Plus, it's French. I think there's a law in France that you can't make a film without boobs in it. I don't know if this is true or not, but it's a rumor worth starting.
"Woman of Adventure" movie set in Belle Époque France? This is everything the rather terrible League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie wasn't.

Impressive! Plus, I have a soft spot for Luc Besson. :)

She has apparently been an adventuress in French graphic novels since the '70s, and therefore needs no introduction.
Does it need pointing out that Blanc-Sec is a Dry White wine?
Quite appropriate... Adele is a very dry character. (In the comics, she hardly ever smiles.)
I'm looking forward to this...
Bosoms? On my YouTube!?
That's how you KNOW it's going to be good.

NEAT.
I have requested the French volume we have at the campus library, and requested a related work from the WA-OR academic network. :D
Thanks for sharing! This definitely goes on my list of movies to see. Yay Luc Besson!
