Australian censor board demands large-breasted porn-stars

Australia has Certain Demands:
"Australian Classification Board (ACB) is now banning depictions of small-breasted women in adult publications and films. They banned mainstream pornography from showing women with A-cup breasts, apparently on the grounds that they encourage paedophilia, and in spite of the fact this is a normal breast size for many adult women. Presumably small breasted women taking photographs of themselves will now be guilty of creating simulated child pornography, to say nothing of the message this sends to women with modestly sized chests or those who favour them. Australia has also banned pornographic depictions of female ejaculation, a normal orgasmic sexual response in many women, with censors branding it as 'abhorrent.'"

Oh Australia... Every time I think about leaving the USA in favor of your shores, you go and do something so incredibly stupid and asinine that you make me think Saudi Arabia would be a superior choice.

Next up? Banning porn in which anyone (male or female) shaves their genitals. Cuz you know that's about kiddy porn, too!

Sadly this too has been used as a criteria for judging a picture of a woman to "appear under the age of 18". Things such as spanking and anything else you'd typically consider 'kinky' is also banned.

But then this is what you get when you live in a country that has no notion of human rights.

    They got it backward.

You know, the Ttty-Bitty-Titty-Committee (IBTC) has gone too far. Where do they draw the line? *disgusted*

It actually looks like this is speculation run amok based on people only reading headlines:

    http://www.crikey.com.au/2010/01/29/has-australia-really-banned-small-breasts/

Still a problem, but not quite the picture that people are painting.

I talked to someone in the biz down there, they basically confirmed that australia is crazy, and that you really could be convicted of a crime if your model looked underage, even if there was proof she wasn't.

    kinda nuts.

"Your girlfriend's breasts are too small. You're under arrest for symbolic child molestation."

"But wait -- she's thirty-four. And she's my English teacher! I'm fifteen! She's molesting me!"

    "Tell it to the judge."

  7. mcity says:

This is the silliest bit of censoring I've ever seen.

What about hairless men with small moobs depicted from the waist up? If we're gonna go along the "simulated" path....

  9. korgmeister says:

You know how every government has this certain issue which functions as an "off switch" for common sense with regards to legislation?

Well, in Australia, it's pedophilia. There's pretty much nothing considered too stupid if you can somehow claim it stops pedophiles.

What the h311, Australia?!?! Why are you imitating the US?
