Makes me miss the good old days of ABC's World News Now at 3 a.m.
"And that's the situation in Washington until the committee meets again next week... And now, for no reason at all, here's some video of polar bears set to the music of Iggy Pop."
I know, right?? My (pretend) theory was that they were just some interns and other lunatics who broke into the studio every night and played newscaster. I mean sure, the news was all there, they had the ABC horn-section fanfare and all that, but _wow_... sometimes that show was like performance art. I loved it.
I described Glenn Beck at a party the other night as right wing radio meets Alton Brown. Apparently Good Eats as a example format for political shows is becoming popular.

I was waiting for that. I wasn't expecting 1:20 though...
I thought I would learn about design patterns and am severely dissapionted.
Me too, but the stuff at 1:20 totally makes up for that!
Stewart and Colbert can rest easy.
Is that what TV news is really like? Ugh.
