       No, wait, I'm amazed that it's 2009 and someone still has a working hit counter. Shouldn't that be carefully preserved in a museum somewhere, along with animated GIF rainbow <hr> lines?

         If it's on somebody's cheapo shared hosting account, it's probably moved servers (and IP numbers) multiple times in eleven years. The staff bulk-transfers user directories and not the server logs. So the counter's likely to have reset to zero more than once.

         If it's not on somebody's cheapo shared hosting account, got me. Most of the times I've seen that picture have been on other sites, anyway.
