    When I flew into Japan a few weeks ago (before all this flu business, thankfully), they had a guy set up with an infrared camera in the arrival hall doing the same thing. I didn't get a chance to see the display but it must have been similar.

    I'm sure they were looking for robots with rubber skin.

    in the philippines last november i was greeted at the airport with signs about SARS and a compulsory foot bath, but no actual foot bath. they did have thermal monitors in place, however.
