I've been to Iron Works, never noticed the 'Rectal Surgery' sign.

See a show at emos, get to the alamo drafthouse. Maybe try the duck tour? that should get about do it. Maybe check out Zilker park?

Emo's, an excellent club in the summer, but this week with the fucking rain means emo's is a cesspool of water and stench.
