It appears the Chinese are not so well versed in tactics these days. :P
I don't care what the experts say...
It's been one of the longest-standing military axioms in United States history - "You can't win a land war in China."
Oh yes you can. And here's why.
One step closer to the armored version...
Neutralizing crowds with laughter?
Also, I want to see what recoil looks like when they fire. Do they start bobbing back and forth? Or does the Segway roll backwards to compensate?
Oh... I wish to play this video game now please.
Best response ever to above pictures.
In no way can this be worth the money it cost to buy those things.
Mechanized infantry: yer doin' it wrong.
What . . . the . . . fuck?
Apparently Google campus security ride around on modded Segways with shields on the front.
I just have visions of the recoil sending them all rolling backwards at a high rate of speed.
And is it just coincidence that there are the same number of chinese characters in the title as the phrase "I for one welcome our new Segway riding overlords?"
If I'm translating the fish's Chinese → English properly, "This is how we roll."
"how is this our roller"
"They see me rollin'"?
I think I laughed so hard at this a little wee came out.
That's awesome. I want an army of soldiers on really segways too!no, wheely I do! *boom boom tish*
So what can we call them?"(star)ting to roll troopers""Go(Fed) with the Moped"
I dunno, it's late and I am out of bad puns for the night.
I do actually have trolley death matches and hotting up gophers listed in my "interests" so this is pretty awesome.
I actually think this could be useful for a quick reaction force in a urban environment. Getting outflanked sucks - getting outflanked by a bunch of guys on segways would suck even more. I don't think you'd be able to lay much accurate fire from one of these platforms but you could do enough suppressing fire to pin people down.
This is why you should never get involved in a land war in Asia...
Fine. I'm installing stairs around my secret lair.
Yeah but then the deus ex machine script writers will just make the Segways able to levitate.
I see that someone has been watching Dr. Who. :)
But are those actually Segways, or Chinese knockoffs?
