The all important question is: Is it wasabi, or green-colored & somewhat flavored horse radish?!?
Inquiring minds want to know? But real human beings don't care that much, unless they eat it really fast. (Wasabi clears out of the mouth and nose faster than horse radish does, but if your wasabi flavoring additives are good, you probably can't taste the difference anyway)
Last time I asked for real wasabi there, it was fake. I gave it a big WTF. I also don't understand why people like Blue Fin so much, I've never been terribly impressed with their sushi...

Get the fresh wasabi! It's fantastic.
seconded!
shit, we must have just missed you! we were there today around 8pm.
Mmm. Nothing like a wasabi sinus high. Wish the place I went to the other day had given me more ginger, though.
Not sure if you care, but I had an absolutely fantastic time at your club tonight. Visited SF from New Zealand, and really got my groove on.
Much appreciated and I hope to return (and hopefully move to SF).
Oh man. Now I really want sushi today. Despite Detroit-area sushi being nothing to write home about.
You could make yourself a nice little wasabi and ginger roll. And then maybe eat some other sushi to stop the bleeding.

Blue Fin has the real thing. It's not on the menu but you can ask for fresh wasabi.
