Yay! I was afraid you had stopped doing this. You did seem kinda busy.
I really liked the Jane Jenson track. When are you doing a Latin Boogaloo mix?
yeah I know this is OT, so what do you think of the new Firefox Sqllite bookmark/history format?
I think the only appropriate word here is schadenfreude.
Opening track reminded me a little of Placebo's Swallow for some reason... I must admit I was kinda surprised at the presence of a Madonna track, but I guess if you choose your music by how it sounds rather than who plays it, you can end up with all sorts of unexpected stuff (at least, that's how I explain the Britney Spears single on the shelf here). I have the David Arnold collection of Bond Theme remixes, and I really like how the older ones try to incorporate the classic Bond theme itself into the music somewhere. Limp Bizkit did a good job of this with their Mission Impossible track, and there's a Boston band called Honest Bob and the Factory-To-Dealer Incentives who feature both the "good" and "evil" Star Wars themes in a song called Tattooine. Maybe there's a mixtape theme in that notion.
I wanted to recommend some SXSW music to you, & playlist.com looked like it might work. I compiled some chill music just because that was easiest to categorize. Could you see if it works?
I am totally snagging The Storm and the Balls - "I Want You To Die" for my FridayNight Waltz set.
