Now I've had the chance to listen to a few of the mixtapes I'm really enjoying getting reacquainted with Cabaret Voltaire again. For some reason I never bought their stuff on CD after buying vinyl the first time round and it's probably still out in the shed somewhere. Man did I used to play that a lot.

Really liking this weeks mix. Thanks!

The AFX track sits in there nicely. You may like another one of Richard D. James' outputs under another pseudonym: The Tuss.

Unimportant info for the really bored:

That's actually a Thomas P. Heckmann track, not a Nitzer Ebb track.
It's not a remix but rather a cover, since it was completely rebuilt from scratch by Heckmann, including vox. It was originally released as Knarz is Machine on Kind der Nacht in September 2000. This was then later licensed by NovaMute who released it as Nitzer Ebb vs Thomas P. Heckmann remix in 2001 (along with a Derrick May remix, which actually is a remix), renaming it "Join in the Chant (Knarz is Machine)".

Rather late and somewhat overdue but just wanted to say how much I like this mixtape. I listen to this one more than any of your others. Cheers.

    ... just. hell yeah.

Their dubnobass album was my favorite, I think. Though Everything Everything was also amazing.
