nice...i was looking for something to do. :)
now if i only had $20 for the door...
*duck and cover*
...but, you mean I have to *pay* to go to the DNA? ...and I won't be dancing on a box half naked?
Yeah, I don't like any bands at all.
I assure you, it costs me more than it costs you. And I don't recall anyone telling you to keep your pants on.
As has been demonstrated in your presence, I am *perfectly* capable of being seen in public, fully dressed.
Whether a girl wears *pants* is between her and her trousers, thank you very much.
Damn, they do sound pretty good and I tend to dislike the recent dance-rock trend. Plus, well, Bohemian Carnival is almost always a good time.
Speaking of which, why the move from $15 at the door to $20? I mean, yeah, it's no huge hassle to get tickets in advance, but still $20 feels kinda stiff.
That's the promoters' decision, not ours...
Yeah, and I've never blamed you guys for it. I just guessed that since Bohemian Carnival seems to be getting more popular they decided the raise the cost in order to keep the quality high. Besides, with that many acts it's gotta be expensive to run.
Still, I'm looking forward to Meat in... what, a week and a half? The promise of heavy beats and delicious meat is too much to resist.
Nyah, yeah the $20 would have caused me to pause. Luckily, I didn't have to pay either, but I might have gone for it anyway in the name of St Pat's Day + Mark Growden Kicks Ass + Support Your Local DNA Lounge, which is all pretty convincing. I'm continually mystified by the people who will pay $20 when they don't have any solid reason to be there.
And I was pleasantly surprised by Luxxury, even though they did cause me to feel a strange urge to dance like a hipster.
