Awesome! Some of the urchins in their reef tank might be descendents of ones my ex donated. He had a reef tank and some tiny urchins came in on the live rock he ordered from Florida. It was all fine and dandy till they started getting huge. So we brought them to Steinhart, and they happily took them off our hands. We even got a little behind-the-scenes tour! It was so cool.
Thank you. Thank you, thank you.
Awesome. My marine biologist girlfriend will love these :)
Ooh, they now have a nautilus at Steinhart! (Did you know they're a cephalopod and not a shellfish? Cephalopods are cool.) I need to go back there.
i adore those sweet little turtles, especially this one.
You should go diving:
those came out really nicely....i am now feeling even more compelled to visit this aquarium.
