No, we don't offer the kids a pool full. Small tubs will do.
Me too! The harder you hit it, the more it resists. But really slow, and it behaves like a total liquid.
Attacking some with a hammer is unrelentingly satisfying. It shatters beautifully, and the various airborne shards and fragments revert to liquid before they hit the ground.
too bad it would be too much of a liability to do that at the nightclub
Ya, the first person who tried to do a cannon ball into it would *RUIN* your insurance rates!
In case you haven't seen it, check out Fingers and Holes in a Shaken Cornstarch Solution and then cornstarch lifeform 80hz (links from <lj user="suspect_device1" />).
The best part is i've got access to a cement mixer and the money to blow on cornstarch, and a suitably *larger* container. Nifty. I hope you invite the local explorers.
And put rows of Diet Coke bottles along each side, with Mento-droppers. :-)
Mmm.. non-neutonian fluids. Brainiac did the same thing, but with custard.
