And the fact is that "octopi" is not without Latin pedigree either, though it's not immediately obvious. I have a post in the works about this, but it's wya on the back burner for now.
Sometimes you wonder if they really like whatever it is they're doing, or if it's mostly for the shock value. Because of the interweb, almost nothing shocks me anymore. So to pretend I'm 'normal' and that they aren't. I make comments about how disgusted I am when really I'm not so much. So here ends the disgustipated comments cuz it's all just what it is. In this case, some hawt (Japanese?) girls(? could be dudes!) with what appear to be cephalopods for hats and a simulated tentacle tongue. (Note: I'm not saying the tentacle in h(is|er) mouth isn't real, the "tentacle for a tongue" concept is the thing being simulated)
Personally, I think the tentacle tongue thing looks better when drawn.. but that's just me.
Dunno what you're talking about. It seems that liking what they're doing and the shock value are very unlikely reasons to do what they've done and that money and/or imprisonment are much more likely reasons.
I wish when people do octopi pr0n they would use *fresh* octopi. Also, their hair is mixed in with the octopus tentacles. I give them a c- for effort. I want quality!
*vurp*

L.
How about "octopodes" then?
(My spell checker didn't like that. Fie on my spell checker!)
Most people use "octopi", therefore that's the correct plural in English.
Most people say nookyaler and foilage, too.
Roll back the great vowel shift! Bring back cases! Enough with this impure 'modern' English!
