I'm sad that they're at the Warfield instead of the Fillmore, but let me re-emphasize that if you miss this show, you are a god damned fool!

I was at the same SF show as you were and road tripped 450 miles to do so. This time I only have to go to the Mouse of Blues. So excited!
There's even three SoCal dates this time around!
I should go home now. I thought you were talking about Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson, and John Vlissides :-)
Cool, have fun! They do seem to have a habit of playing in dodgy venues though. I'm going to see them tomorrow night in an all-seated theatre, which is Just Not Right.
The Fillmore has had the Turbonegro show booked on that date for ages now. I bet Go4 would have been there otherwise.
have you heard any of the new album?
it's worth it just for the new version of "we live as we dream, alone". the original on "songs of the free" was just wrong.
Thought you might want to know: your posts about them are the only reason I know Gang of Four exist. Now, I couldn't possibly have a higher opinion of them; I think I had "Entertainment!" looping in my car for like three weeks after I first got it.
Sadly, I don't think they'll be playing anywhere near me.
Once again I won't be able to make it -- I have class that evening :/
I am seeing them Friday, based largely on your review of the last show they did over there.
The title on that website cracks me up.
