LJ tags

Since LJ has tags now, I've added a few to the most recent two pages of my posts. I've also turned on the option that lets anyone add new tags to my posts. So go forth, my army of flying monkeys, and tag my old posts! Let's see what categories you come up with.

Update, June 21: Ok, the experiment is over. Verdict: you are all incredibly lame.

theoretically, someone could change all your tags to "I am a douchebag."

Does LJ let you know who changes a tag, and to what?

I don't think you can see who added/deleted/changed a tag. However, you can limit who can manipulate tags to your friends group, or to subgroups thereof.

Time to write a script that tags every entry as "cranky". ;)

OK, so I've lost this one somewhere.

I'm using the tags (and like you, have updated the last couple of pages of my entries with them), but where do you have the option to change who can edit the tags?

  4. I added an "abusing_the_lazyweb" tag. Probably not too selective, but oh well.

I think one of them has to be "Dear Japanese people..", but of course I'm too lazy to go back and tag them.

I really love the tag idea.

Perhaps, but surely asking other people to go and help format your old posts is a powerful lame-pass filter...

You actually removed tags like Space/astronomy, Boobies and War?? Do you even actually read your old posts?

Not to mention the innovative really weird tags such as "rms furry porn".

I don't even want to know how that came about.
