I've never seen a good picture of an aye-aye before. They have some at the zoo, but they're in the darkened "noctural" room, and difficult to see.

The handful of crocs is excellent.

The guys carrying Einstein's head are wearing labcoats, why? Is the head actually a disembodied acid spitting robot? God, I hope so.

Man, Brian Froud is great. And Henson's crittermakers can create such nifty muppets from his designs. I wish they'd release a cleaned up version of Dark Crystal on DVD.

    Hunh?

  9. holy crap how many handfuls of cute is THAT.

i really want a little swarm of those teeny crocodile heads jutting out of each ponytail. rarrr.

  10. SF Zoo had aye-ayes. Then they thought one of them was pregnant, and closed the aye-aye enclosure, and never reopened it. There's nothing on the zoo web site about it. They have become un-lemurs.

    It's disturbing.

Forgive me if I say that is one shocked lemur.

Somewhere, Jim Henson is very pleased.

  13. The SFX for the handful of crocs must be The Chipmunks singing Feliz Navidad.
