I still can't see out my window but now it has spots.
It looks remarkably like the asbestos microphotos I have to scan in at work from time to time.
They look sort of like galaxies in the negative pictures of the sky the astronomers use so they won't go blind.
I live in the outer spiral of the smudge on the left!

That is totally awesome. Now I just need windows made of some kind of magic reverse-video-polarizing filter.
I'm sure you could rig something. A bunch of LCDs, some cameras, way too much time and money, and stringed instrument, you live in a bad scifi movie.

They look like prehistoric bugs that splattered across the windows while your building was running away from hordes of rare metal-eating dinosaurs. Yes, your building may have travelled through time.
