base 10 is just so 50s
Chromatin at 100 nanometers kinda looks like an Ahley knot (Java required), on one of his off days. Everything from about 10,000km to about 10m looks like a slideshow version of the awesome EarthViewer 3D. It looks like they just call it "Keyhole" now. Worth a try if you've never seen it.
if i only had some spare cycles to reimplement it as an xscreensaver...
If they'd done it in Flash instead of Java, it would Just Work...
