      You spend a couple of thousand years refining a culture and cuisine, it's a hard call to leave. Unless, you know, NAFTA isn't working out for you, then it's all "Hey, let's get the hell out of here!"

        Since Japanese culture was largely imported from Korea less than 2000 years ago, they wouldn't have to worry so much about that.

          Since the Japanese did their best to force-feed their hideously mutated version of Korean culture back to the Koreans during the first half of the 20th Century, I'm sure the Koreans would welcome the chance to return the favour....

    Interesting. Reminds me of those old paintings. Maybe my seadome idea isn't so off after all. Btw, after having had the chance to read some of the gruntlets, I decided to venture to ask if I might suscribe ('friend' in LJ's rather emotionally charged, somewhat inapropriate lingo) to your blog?
