"my morning ritual"

Date: Mon May 10 06:56:26 2004I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

I have pretty much the same ritual although I call mine "The Artoo Deetoo" and a crucial component involves me putting my interface plug into a wall outlet.
Do your eyes glow red, too?

I need that ritual right now in order to chill out and lose this headache. Coincidentally, I've been trying to get my old 1990 Terminator PC game to run in DOS, to no avail. I think I'm going to cry.

Tried DosBox? Didn't see any 1990 Terminator games on the compatibility list, which could be a good or a bad thing.
I did--it doesn't work. I tried it personally, then saw that it was listed as "broken"--no support for it yet. Thanks though--any other ideas?
on a PC with a DOS boot, it won't work if you don't have an older video card that has full VGA and/or VESA support. Which means a PCI or ISA card.

I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas, aside from the obvious: picking up an old machine at a flea market or similar. I was about to do that myself, until DosBox came along and solved all early gaming problems for me. If this Terminator game is the Terminator game I'm thinking of, I played it on a 286/12, so you hopefully won't have to look too hard.

tin-manemotionless cyborg badass got a heart at the end of the second movie. He didn't know what he was missing, in the first one. Emotionless cyborg badass wouldn't know the value of a girlfriend until she went down on him. (trying real hard to make the punchline stick)I think I have a new morning ritual.
Awesome!! I have felt like robot at work lately! I could really have fun doing that & giving myself a character to "play"!!
A big revolving 30-mm gun is nice at work when you go bezerk.
