Surprise! McDonald's is not good for you.

Super Size Me

Morgan Spurlock decided to become a gastronomical guinea pig. His mission: To eat three meals a day for 30 days at McDonald's and document the impact on his health. [...] Within a few days of beginning his drive-through diet, Spurlock, 33, was vomiting out the window of his car, and doctors who examined him were shocked at how rapidly Spurlock's entire body deteriorated.

"It was really crazy - my body basically fell apart over the course of 30 days," Spurlock told The Post.

"Consumers can achieve balance in their daily dining decisions by choosing from our array of quality offerings and range of portion sizes to meet their taste and nutrition goals," McDonald's said in a statement.

Focusing on the "dirty restaurant" aspect of that post... why is that a recurring theme in McD rants? With the exception of one restaurant in the midwest (Port Washington, WI McD (yeah, the city that one 90s comedy took place in (I'm too lazy to look up the name))), I don't think I've ever seen a revolting dining room. In fact, I visit the McD a couple blocks from work once per week or so, and it's always spotless, and there's always a slacker pushing a mop when I walk in.

It fucking pisses me off. Fire the slacker, hire a wild monkey with a broom instead, and stop raising the price of my Two Cheeseburgers value meal ($2.99 in 1996, last time I checked it's now $182.40 + tip).

i dunno, i've never seen any other mcd rants.

most mcdonalds i've eaten at have been relatively clean.

this one, however, was particularly bad.

normally i don't care about grime, dirt on the floor, messy dining rooms, whatever... but in this case, it was all that, PLUS the fact that the food made me violently ill.

As a juvenile delinquent I spent a number of hours in lock-up. All of my meals were McDonalds!!!

I think my "taste goals" include becoming the sort of person who doesn't eat at McDonald's.
