Heh, Dina and I are just on our way out the door to see it. I thought I'd habitually reload my friends page just once more and saw this.....

    Now I'm out!

try not to have dreams later.. they'll involve flying limbs. it's beautiful, but it's deeply gross. it makes pulp fiction look like full house

The last Quentin Tarantino (sp?) movie I saw ("Pulp Fiction") left me feeling rather queasy from all the really horrible, unpleasant people parading across the screen masquerading as protagonists. A name like "Kill Bill" doesn't exactly raise my hopes for this movie.

    • horrible and unpleasant like uma thurman?

      • omnifarious says:

You bring up one of the four characters in the movie who shouldn't have been hung at birth. And, of those 4 characters, only 2 do anything in particular (Uma Thurman's character not being one of those two).

I felt the tomato joke she told pretty much summed up the whole movie.

I agree. Kill Bill kicked MUCH ASS! :D

  5. I concur. Wholehearted praise goes to the grindhouse tribute!

Definitely one of the best movies of the year.

    Done and done.

'Twas because of your "movies I've seen recently" page that I went and saw Titus, which I enjoyed. A good word on what to look for is hard to come by in Ohio. Whatever became of that page?

It kicked so much ass. I want my wife to go see it now so she can get over 'gore' in movies. All that blood. Wheee!

    It even has "the scream".
