The headline here Recently Captured al Qaeda Leader Was Killed Last Year seems sorta weird. Don't they mean "... Was Reported Killed ..."?

In any case, I think it's a great idea. If I had a dime for every time I heard someone say "Well, every time you see XYZ on the news, they say ..." or "Well if it's so common, then how come I never hear about it", I could open my own club. ;)

I think it might have been. I saw bits of it on "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. They showed a military base in Kuwait getting the crap kicked out of in a sand storm. They mentioned that was the primary army/infantry base near Southern Iraq, identified it as in Kuwait, and identified it as "Camp Coyote"
Jon Stewart even joked about it. Paraphrased: "This demonstrates how much military superiority you have when you can loudly tell the world where your base is and what it's named."
