Hi folks,
I am here at the police station waiting to see a judge... and I thought I would check to see if there is connectivity here. :)
THere is!
Wireless is awesome...
It's here at the Bryant St station... at the corner of 7th street and Bryant.

Lile,
is this a performance art piece?
is getting busted a part of the theatrical event?
is this street-theater 21rst century style?
i dont get why you'd take a risk of setting bad precident like this.
what the heck is a hacker artist?
sorry i'm not l337.
do hacker artists post to lists like that or do i not understand the list?
yeah, that kinda annoys me too.
isn't hacking already art?
like how many "painter artists" or "engine repair artists" are there?
i think when you need to tell people that what you make is art, then you've just admitted that it's not.
This is certainly true of ______ Science. But I think the only thing that makes art art is saying that it is so.
Q: how do you annoy a performance artist?
A: Say "I saw something just like that on the Gong Show."
true...
hmm. there seems to be a problem though with our way of understanding what-is-art
i think saying that art doesnt have to recognizable or appreciate-able by anyone other than the artist
is flawed
like Saturday Night Live having jokes that arent funny and saying "Modern humor doesnt have to make you laugh"
so like a joke, where the audience gets the last word on whether it's funny
maybe it should be up to the audience to decide
whether you're making art
or just wanking
and then you can say with authority "people tell me i'm an artist"
that would make me more comfortable.
