You know, one useful way to use your friends list is to use it as the seed for friendsfriends. So for example, suppose person A is your actual, semi-real-life friend, and you want to read their journal, but the contents of their friends list sucks. Well, assuming that you have some friend B who lists A as a friend, you can just befriend B, thereby seeing A's journal on friendsfriends, but not picking up A's lame-assed friends too.

So your friends list changes from "list of people I want to read" to "list of people I deputize to decide what I read." It becomes a list of editors rather than authors. I guess that might also save you from getting embarrassing email of the form, "why am I on your friends list, spooky stalker-boy?"

And by the way, this is a really good song. .\oo/ (←Secret devil sign hand gesture.)

Hrm ... so what does this say about my friends list? :)

    1. why would you have to read friend A's peeps to begin with?

    2. wouldn't friend B subject you to lotsa lame ass stuff too?

    3. wouldn't be ideal if B just listed your friend as a friend so you could bypass and have the simpliest friendsfriends list?

    4. wouldn't that list of friend B ideally match only the people you ever wanted to read?

    5. why isn't friend B's list just your real friends list?

    6. why is Q $15?

i'm not seeing what's your obsession with friendsfriends and why you just igore it.
could it be that you didn't get as much Q action as i did tonight?

The idea is to select some person B who has more interesting friends choices than A, while also listing A. I can't explain my obsession with friendsfriends, but I think it's that it's pretty random, but not totally random (which it turns out isn't very interesting, I've checked.) I do not posess an ideal list of only the people I ever want to read, the world being all dynamic and stuff. Q is $15 because they said so. Did you get your money's worth? I don't go to Q because the music gives me hives. Therefore I surely got less action, Q or otherwise, than you did this evening. HTH.

actually for max coverage and reasonable change of achieving the goal you must have mupltiple B's.
damn it, discrete math filling head!!!

you might also need a better search algorithm for B's which will probably mirror how you find the A's.

not that you have much control over this, but Q sucked at this venue. no midnight dance, not enough fine-ass dancers, the men pretty much gone, they are still playing the same set from almost 2 years ago (not entirely complaining though.). i'd say maybe like $8 which is what i think i paid last time... no i didn't really pay, so whee.
