So that fucking inescapable big-hit White Stripes song, whatever it's called, has exactly the same intro as Love in a Void.

I'm so glad I didn't go. Always trust your Spidey-sense.

Heh, luckily that song seems to be on the decline up here in Canada. Thank [insert deity of choice] for that. Unfortunately they aren't playing much good stuff on the radio up here anyways. At least there's and thousands of good songs by (mostly) unknown groups.

while you may complain about the song, some countries haven't even begun to hear it. Way out here, we only got to see them on TV during the MTV movie awards. I wonder if it'll catch on..

PS. This music by White Stripes isn't the only music like that, the radio stations here in Toronto have been playing similar drek for the last while too. Give me Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, or Collide any day.

I actually think it's an ok song, it's just crazily overplayed. Though it continues to surprise me how, all of the sudden, there are all these Pixies clones who appear to be the Next Big Thing. Where did that come from?

Type O Negative suck much, much ass.
